Ok, I think we've got enough here to start breaking it down. It's gonna take me a while to sort through all this and figure out what to do next. I'm pretty sure everyone will agree with me that if a movie received 4 or more nominations, that it automatically goes to the final round.

Alright, the ones automatically in the finals are:
  • Batman & Robin
  • Battlefield Earth
  • Glitter
  • Freddy Got Fingered
  • Highlander II: The Quickening

Ill second E.T.!
The Cell was one of the most godawful movies I ever had to sit all the way through...(I had rented it at a hotel. It was before I realized how godawful an actress Jlo is!)

Do we have to have actually seen the movie? Coz I aint EVER gonna see Gigli no matter what.

A stinker of a Clint Eatwood film was his latest Blood Work...I had it sussed out from the first ten minutes. But dont know if it rates all time bad.

Armageddon was the first movie I almost fell asleep during.

Of course Episode I and II have to count as the first movies I almost walked out on and would have too if we didnt run out of beer.

And DC Cab rawks! The guy who played Wojo from Barney Miller was in it!

I don't watch bad movies.
No, I take that back. I did see Batman and Robin. I believe the phrase that comes to mind is "fucked up beyond repair".
You'd have to pay me a million dollars to see Gigli, and even then I'd sneak into something better! [nyah hah]

Shirley Valentine

Mother

Unbreakable. What kind of "hero" takes off his wedding ring just to talk to some woman he just met? They spent the whole movie telling us he's unbreakable. To everyone who actually believes any comic book collector would love this bucket of crap without the bucket, I have a bridge I'd like to sell you in Mexico.

I totally disagree. Unbreakable was an incredible film.

Here's the skinny. There were a shitload of movies nominated, and I'm trying to figure out as to how to break up the polling to make it even out. But since I'm on vacation this week, I don't feel like fucking with it. Maybe next week when I get back from Dragon*Con.

And, yes, the movie nominating is over.

Ditto. But Spielberg is scared to death of doing an ending people will hate. Look at Minority Report.
I liked Minority Report (though how they got to the end was confusing as anything). I agree about AI, though. It should have ended with Osment underwater.

Too bad the nominating process is over. No one mentioned Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes (which would have been passable without the confusing ending.

The Caveman's Valentine: Pure, unadulterated S-H-I-T. What in the fuck was Samuel L Jackson THINKING?!?!

Chicago: 2 hours of "Hey gang, lets put on a show! Watch me sing, watch me dance! Aren't I talented"? I wanted to leave 5 minutes in but my girlfriend's so cheap she would not leave and made me suffer along for the whole fucking waste. This movie made me physically ill.

Attack of the Clones: Note to George Lucas: Having a zillion dollars DOESN’T make you a screenwriter. Put a crow-bar in your wallet and hire one for the final turd. P.S. AVOID 4 year olds racing spaceships or midgets in stupid teddy-bear suits…

Collateral Damage: Schwarzenegger... No more to be said… I liked the part where he was going to "blend in" in South America. Do steroids cause brain damage?

There are more but this is some of the shit I actually spend money on.

Batman and Robin would get my vote, but I didn't manage to sit all the way through it.

Another horrid movie is "Say it isn't So" . The non-memorable guy from American Pie sleeps with Heather Ghraham, finds out she's his sister, finds out she's not, and that his mother is Susanne Sommers, the woman he jacked off to all through high school. The only high point was a Pixies song in the soundtrack, but one has to wonder why screenwriters smoke so much crack.
