Season 3: Episode 1: "The Two"

Upon mysteriously awakening in Hong Kong after fighting with doppelganger Francie in Los Angeles, Sydney learned that two years had passed and everyone presumed she was dead … and she has no recollection of those years. Returning to the world that she once knew will turn out to be both enlightening and painful, as Sydney searches to discover where she has been and what had transpired during the missing time. She will soon learn that her memories contain pivotal information that numerous members of the intelligence world are interested in — and may kill for.

In the season premiere episode, with no memory of her life during the past two years, Sydney struggles to come to grips with a reality that is both foreign and frightening. To begin her journey back, she confronts Vaughn about his marriage and learns the shocking fates of Jack and Sloane. Meanwhile, Sydney is granted temporary CIA clearance on a case that may help her regain her memory.

Now, I don't know about the rest of you, but seeing the new teaster on ABC has got me anxious for the 28th!

Seeing Syd walk down the street carrying that gun, and then shooting it like she doesn't give a shit what's going on . . . man, that's just good stuff!

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH I missed it last night! stooopid football. ABC had a Bears game on last night and when I tuned in to watch Alias, it was in the 3rd quarter, I think, so I didn't go back to see if it aired later. So I missed the preview. *sniff*

BUT, I have read a few spoilers and can't believe 2 of them. Their going to have me screaming this entire season. I'll share if you guys want to know, but other wise, I'd rather not have things thrown at me for posting them here.

I DID scream. Repeatedly.
I am restraining myself from readin any spoilers. This show and farscape are the only ones I've ever wanted to be suprised by. Because they do such a glorious job of knocking your socks off.
However, that still means I madly want to click on spoilers even more to relieve the tension

After reading a bunch of spoilers I'm still screaming and want to know more. All that's been revealed is enough to make you scream then want to grab JJ and make him tell you what happens. Believe me, they don't reveal anything more. Just enough...

I bought the alias season 1 box set..I've seen 2 episodes now..good stuff...

I want! *pouts* I was at Borders today, and they're selling it for $60, but if you go to Wal-Mart, their selling it for $45. Gee, I wonder where I'm going to buy it from (of the 2). I wonder how much it's going for at Sams club...

Just checked and it's $43.88 at Sams. hrm... I wonder when my sister's going to make a Sams run... hehehe

I think I paid $40.00 at best buy...

Yeah and you know what sucks? The week it came out, Circuit City ran a special on it. The set plus the book, Declassfied, for $40.00. That was the price for the set and the book was free. And I had no car!

Maybe my sister bought it, and she wrks at best buy....I wonder what her discount was...

Every store within reasonable driving distance is completely sold out of the Season 1 set.

That's just wrong.

Seriously though, that's a good thing. That shows how popular the show reall is. Because I keep hearing that it has a small, loyal cult following, but I have to think there are more Alias fans that the media is mentioning. I keep running into more and more fans of the show. In fact, just the other day I sent an old offline friend an email asking her something and in telling her why I was asking, I mentioned the Man From U.N.C.L.E./Alias fic I'm writting and she thought that was so cool because she's an Alias addict like the rest of us.

Daddy Bristow looked like a serial killer with that beard he was sporting! ...even if it was a horrible looking beard.

No Will, Evil Francie or Irina . . . or Mrs. Vaughn . . . yet!

Sloan . . . smug doesn't even begin to cover it & he's lying . . . not to mention holding something back.

Dixon . . . good for him, Kendall bugged the hell outta me. "She will destroy the chip." Hahaha!

The new guy . . . the one who hates Jack (from the DOJ?) . . . good God, can you be any dorkier & work for the government?

Weiss . . . made it up in the world and still one of my favorite people on the show. :) But man, I wouldn't want to be in his shoes as the "go between" between two friends like Vaughn & Sydney.

Vaughn . . . he was almost non-existant in this episode. The speech Syd gave him about trying to cover his own ass in "seeing how you were" . . . man, that was brutal and he should've seen it coming.

Sydney . . . holy crap! Beats Vaughn up in Paris, takes out the Russian on the streets of Prauge (and you know she loved blowing up that car with that gun), makes the DOJ prick look like an idiot, and tells Vaughn "what for" and walks out . . . then finds out she was still "active" during her MIA status in the States.

Man . . . talk about an opening to a season!

I love that Syd didn't really break down and cry, because you can really see her trying to stay tough and figure out what's going on. But I teared up a bit when Syd and Jack hugged. Cause I miss my dad (I know, I'm a sap)

I feel no pity for Vaughn at this point. At least he could stick around to help her out even if he was married so she wouldn't have to chat up Weiss so much.

I do miss Irina, and she better show up soon. That's not just my girlcrush speaking, she is integral to the show.

Shirtless Sark is the other thing I ask. doesn't even need a reason.

What do you make of that video of Syd slitting that guys throat??? You could tell that freaked her out!

Ok, now that I have that out of my system... My highlights...

LOVED when Jack told Syd he loves her! WOO! I so cheered that time, after I yelled, "IT'S ABOUT TIME!" of course.

LOVED their hug at the end! WOO! Jack's da man! I knew he loved her that much and when it came to it, he'd show his feelings for her.


For all you Syd/Vaughn shippers who are still holding out for them.... She now realizes what a looser he is. Loved when Jack told her Vaughn wasn't good enough for her. He knew it then, but kept it to himself, because of what things were like between him and Syd.

Uh, where were Sark and Irina?

What happened to Kendall? Sorry, I missed what they were saying about him being radio silent. Did they say he's in the field or something? I taped it, but wont get a chance to see it for a week or so, just really busy this week.

You should have seen me when Syd walked up to that car and blew it up (wearing the red dress). I was on the phone with a cousin of mine, getting his phone number, and so I split my attention between the call and the tv, so after I verified the number, I handed the phone back to my mom, saw the car go up in flames, then cheered, as the phone was being passed. LOL I'm sure he was wondering what the heck was wrong with me just then. ;P

I don't care what Sloane says, I still don't trust him. My skin crawled when he pulled that, you know you felt the same for me crap with Syd, right before she grabbed him, flipped him on the desk and put the letter opener to his neck.

Crap, I know there's more but that's all my brain can handle right now...

That was awsome! I was so not dissapointed in the least. It was everything I expected and more. WOO!

I thought I read that post on lj. :) I'll have to add you to my friends list, when I find your post again that is. I'm still going back through the Alias community trying to see if I can find all my comments because I've been reading so many posts and posting to some of them, but I don't remember which ones after all.

Ok as for Kendall, yeah they were talking about Kingston, I just missed it Sunday night, but caught it when I rewatched my tape yesterday afternoon. There is a plot hole though, in the finale, Syd calls in and talks to Kendal, then Vaughn's sent to speak to her, but in the premiere, he's no where to be seen and Dixon says he's the head of that division for the past 6 months now.

Now either Kendal's still there, but doing deep investigation and Dixon's just filling in for him, or he's gone and so when Syd called him, they patched her to him. Either way they patched ehr to him and someone sent Vaughn to talk to her.

From what I've heard, there will be some sort of Syd Weiss pairing. At least they'll be roommates.

Sark will be in the next episode. I checked the ABC site last night when checking to see if they updated the charecters profiles, and Syd goes to talk to Sark who's still in the holding cell. I know Irina will be back at some point, but I don't know when off hand.

I also know what happened to Will and why he wont be on much, but he will be on soon and Freplica'll be back too.

Irina killed Vaughn's father. Evil Francie killed Dixon's wife & Francie. Dixon killed Sloan's wife. Sydney killed Sark's father.

Spydaddy telling spymommy he misses her too. dooood, that had my eyes bugging, and my glasses were locked in the trunk of my car with no hopes of be released until late this afternoon, so I had to sit close to the tv to see that. I'm so glad I could read that, and that I taped it because now I can go back and watch it again, now that I have my glasses that is.

He misses her.

That is scary.
