Not sure if you guys are getting the same commercials I'm getting here in Ohio, but about every fifteen minutes on Comedy Central, commercials for "Jamster" cell phone downloads come on. They're advertising cell wallpaper, screensavers, and custom ring tones.

They are the most ANNOYING commercials I have EVER seen in my life, EVER. Never in my life has a series of commercials so gotten under my skin. I mean, they've pissed me off so much I'm writing a post about them on the RKMBs.

Whenever they come on, which is literally every 15 minutes, for 18 hours a day, seven days a week, I either mute the tv or change the channel. But I mean... come on...

The wallpaper and screensavers are some of the most tacky ghettofied CRAP I've ever laid eyes on. I mean, I don't think even gangsta gangsta thugs see any street cred in these things.

And their ringtones, which consist of an obnoxious voice shouting, "Hey iz someone callin' you?! Mmm-hmm!", a "frog" making irritating noises for a good 20 seconds, and a remix of Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Baby Got Back", SUCK. They SUCK. If I'm ever in a public place and I hear that fucking frog ring I'm going to smash that person's phone against the wall.

My region's Comedy Central channel needs to stop running this crap!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!

I'm seeing those here also. Does anyone know if their legit? It looks like some kind of scam.

I'm getting them in my neck of the woods. Comedy Central and (surprise) the MTVs are playing them. Who cares if it's legit or not? Who's gonna buy them besides people under the age of 16?

And I concur with you, Non9. If I hear those ring tones, I'm gonna beat the shit out of the phone user.

I'm getting them here too in South Fla. (Pembroke Pines, specifically). I agree that they are the most annoying commercials I've seen in a long time.

I'm considering borrowing a friend's phone and putting it on there, just for a good laugh.

ever read the fine print at the bottom? you can access those items for $2.99. A week. That's $12 a month for glorified shit that you have to pay for until you send them a text message telling them to stop, and the number for that is also fine print in the commercials. I call shenanigans!

why does the frog have to show his little wang?

They're showing the commercials in Orlando too. I can't imagine anyone ordering any of Jamster's services, even the lamest 14-year-olds or the stupidest Chavs.
