the lighter schedule is a reason why some prefer it, yeah.

but for the company to expand, they're going to have to do house shows and tour regularly at some point.

oh, i agree, and it is a good thing, because i miss the monday night wars, but i wonder if some will slowly leave, or get fired for lack of showing up.

I'm sure it will happen at some point. Hardy's already had schedule issues, although they seem content to let him slide.

a lot of their talent works with ROH, as well, and sometimes there are issues there. the recent suspensions of Austin Aries and Roderick Strong (which I think is bullshit) being the most recent.

a lot of TNA's names also appear for NWA Cyberspace cards, and a lot of the jobbers you see on Impact wrestle for the florida NWA affiliate. can't remember the name right now.

aren't there workers allowed to work other nwa affiliated shows? either way i see it as only a positive. i am ready for wwe to have to pony up a good show or not be watched knowing the fan will have a second choice

I'm a fan of the way TNA allows it's talent to work other shows. If there's a fan of, say, some regional indy who sees a guy he knows from his local show on TV, he'll be more likely to watch the show. It works the other way round, too.

In all fairness, WWE has been known to do something similar, albeit to a lesser degree.

The TNA house shows that are running are prepaid house shows, meaning a local promoter is paying them a flat fee for the show. This is a good situation for TNA, they get to feel out the locations for running their own shows, without any risk on their parts.

As far as TNA allowing talent to appear on local cards, they technically are only contracted to TNA when needed. Therefore if TNA isnt running a show, or a promotional event the talent can go wherever they want. There are stipulations that the event cant harm the product, they blocked a Raven vs Sabu program last year by CZW saying that a feud was in the works for TV and didnt want DVD's of the event to get out and kill the story.

I find this understandable as they have invested alot of money into their product and wrestlers, and I think the workers generally understand as their paydays have went up. I used to book Chris Harris for $75 before TNA went on Fox Sports Net, afterwards he was $150, and I hear from other promoters he is asking $350 and getting it now.
