Kinda Civil War related, but not really...
Okay, Foggy Nelson is dead and Matt Murdock is locked up. So who's the Daredevil that's running around Hell's Kitchen?
And who is the Daredevil that is sitting in the Baxter Building in the first issue of Civil War, rolling a quarter across his fingers? Is it a case of continuity not matching up and it is Matt Murdock, either pre or post-incarceration? Or is it the other guy?
I think it's the other guy. But when I saw him flipping the coin in the doorway, the first thing I thought of is "Why is Harvey Dent dressing as Daredevil?" Then it dawned on me...Is Bullseye the guy running around dressed as Daredevil? If he is, why would they let him into the Baxter Building? Hmmmmm...
Also, I don't for a second believe that Foggy is dead. He just went into exile for a few months to get his Iron Man movie treatment ready...
Actually, I really don't. He was alive at the end of one issue, and then the next issue at the funeral they mention that he was stabilizing before getting in the ambulance but he suddenly died while in on the way to the hospital, but of course nobody was in the ambulance to actually see anything. I'm sure he was snagged by either Nick Fury and/or SHIELD for his own protection. This would also explain why the Fed's would want Matt Murdock in prison, especially in gen-pop. They're not punishing him. They're using him to punish everybody else...
Or I could be completely wrong...Who knows...

I agree. Brubaker doesn't strike me as the kind of writer to kill off Daredevil's one and only supporting character. It could be argued that he's taking him in a new direction, but that could just as easily be done with Foggy missing instead of dead, then you get 2 supporting casts for the price of one when he returns
New Daredevil could be Iron Fist, though I doubt it is...

Echo is Ronin. Ronin was supposed to be in the New Avengers, was in a couple issues and hasn't been seen again. I'd say it could be her as fake DD, but it doesn't feel right. I'm thinking Bullseye, but I can't figure out why.
