his popularity is increasing. quickly. howard stern always used him as a regular. nick at night carried him further with their campaigns. conan obrien brought him to cult fame. 1800 collect, tho typically a sure sign of a career's end, fits perfectly in the rise of an already-cliched actor. mr t is coming folks. maybe he'll get his own movie, or tv show, or more regular appearances on an existing set. ... no one can say. but his power is intensifying. and i pity the fool that doesnt recognize that.

T does have a new flick comin' out, chump!* It's some Christian action adventure flick similiar to the recent "Left Behind" movie and/or "The Omega Code". Workin' for Technicolor does have it's advantages...I get all the good inside stuff on upcoming flicks.
* In honor of Mr.T's return to the big screen, I have been practicin' up on my T lingo at work. Some get a kick outta it. Others don't, and just find me annoying. I pity dose chumps!!!!!

he's also gonna be on howard sometime next week. im not exactly sure what a christian action movie is, but... unless T is a kick ass, take no nonsense jesus, i hope it does really well! (ok, even if he IS that jesus, i hope it'll do really well).

"Christian Action" is a new sub-genre that seems to have popped up, usually an action flick or thriller that seems to have some christian message or subtext associated with it. Like I said...some of the recent examples of this have been "Left Behind", based on some series of novels that my sister is addicted to, and "The Omega Code", that was even funded by some religious outfit. Being not overly religious, I haven't deemed these films worthy of my time.....well, that and the fact that Kirk Cameron is the star of "LEFT BEHIND"...and I just hate him. I probably will catch the T flick, though. That's because I just wanna see him bustin' heads for the Lord....I pity dat Satan!

I thought that Mr. T was fighting off cancer, and had almost beaten it. I remember hearing about that somewhere ; if he is stil fighting it off & working, more power to him.

I caught T on Conan last night. He got a standing ovation (one after and one as he came on, which delayed a "In the year 2000" skit a full minute). The man is funny as hell and real good-natured.

I once saw an interview with him, and he conducted himself as a complete gentleman. He's pretty darn cool.

i actually gotta double dose of T yesterday. he was on howard stern in the morning (which made me 20 minutes late for work) then again, like bibbo said, on conan that night (which gave me 4 hours of sleep). i love the guy!!! he's rediculously funny, and always brings out the best in people. once and again (sorry, llance!) i'd say he's the best replacement for andy that conan'll ever get!!!

the boards are definitely slow. its a combination of: 1) my server acting up a lil. 2) the message boards being new. moreso the second reason. the new forums use a new "caching" system. which, basically means, the more y'use them, the faster they get. however, it also means the first few times you go thru threads, y'might havta suffer. working on speedin things up fer ya, tho

I would love to team up Mr. T and Pee Wee Herman in a movie, maybe as partners in some silly cop buddy comedy a la Lethal Weapon. Both of those guys are so damn entertaining. T as Conan's permanent sidekick would be fun for a little while, but the T-man isn't destined for sidekick status!

pee wee herman!?! y'know, lou, i thought you had truly found your niche here, when i read your porno post in the women section. however now, im truly disappointed. tho herman had his day, t is here to stay! and, granted, i agree that the sidekick position wouldnt be suitable for a legend like t, however... paired with conan, his popularity would soar, as would conan's show. they're so mismatched, its perfect!! any appearance they share, the audience loves it (as do i, from home). it wouldnt be long before conan's show completely dominated his not-so-great timeslot, leading to bigger and better things for the pair.
