I was pointing 'em out, 'cause I've never seen toys, dolls or figures of what are widely regarded as children/youth-market characters displayed so provocatively.
I saw a catalog about a year ago that showed similar dolls and figures, only with visible and detailed vaginas, in provacative poses. Like a PENTHOUSE layout, only with a doll!

I actually think this last one is the least sexually provocative.
The 3-D aspect of the flowing hair, particularly from the POV of the last photo, is actually pretty cool.

I imagine this was around the time when the US politifucks started coming down on videogames as being too violent (which resulted in my SNES mortal kombat having green blood instead of red) and the Japs are just being careful.
They actually went the extra mile with the console ports, where Poison and Roxy were changed into generic punks.

I remember those times well, but I still think it was silly for them to make the call about changing the women to generic punks, Billy and Cid, because of perceived attitudes concerning violence toward women in America while, at the same time, making a game where I could play as any of seven guys and slap around this little Chinese bitch for 99 seconds a round on SF2. Still, in the end, I guess this may have been Yasuda's call and not Capcom's as a whole. Otherwise, the company looks bipolar.
