She started coughing up blood. She's on morphine to suppress the cough, but she's going downhill fast. I have her with me tonight, sleeping on my bed. She's the sweetest thing - she melts like an amoeba when she sleeps. Who am I going to nap with on the sofa on Sunday afternoons?! Goddamn. Two dogs in one year.
