I'm sorry your mother was being a cunt over the television. why exactly? What is her problem with good eats? I loves me some good eats. I've learned how to do some amazing risotto and other shit from Alton.
My grandmother acts that way all the time. complains about everything that her family is doing wrong and who she knows that has died that week and htat her children never call so we wouldn't know she's dead. i know she's not dead cause i get a call every week with something about her computer or her phone or my uncle.
I suggest doing what i do and just get her shitfaced. it worked for me quite well last night. She was hungover to the point she didn't want to come up for the meal i had set for today which meant i could make stuff that i'd like that she'd normally complain about as she ate it.

And, to be fair, one of my favorite friends there is blind and I take every opportunity available to make fun of that and we're still friends. That guy never fit there. He never got the spirit of the RKMBs. We're gonna keep an eye on the obits, see if he finally left or if he really did have a heart attack.
