It's good to hear from you after all this time. I was starting to get worried. After the way things ended, I didn't know what to think. I want you to know that in spite of everythng that went down, I still cherish our time together. Those were some of the best days of my life. Sometimes my memories of you are tinted with nostalgia and sometimes with anger. I hope you understand.

I will contact the lawyer, though I'm not sure how much of the money I deserve, after all it was you who did the bulk of the work. Still, if you're okay with sending some cash to me, I won't complain. As you may have heard, things have gotten a little difficult for us over here.

I'm sorry it took me so long to reply. At work they monitor my e-mails for security reasons, and when I'm at home Carol is always going in and out of the room, looking at what I'm reading. She's sleeping at the moment, so I can safely e-mail the lawyer now. Obviously Carol can't know about any of this, or my life will be ruined. I hope you understand.

By the way, attached is a picture from Mexico. Tell me if you like it. I have many more if you're interested, though some of them are too private to be sent this way. I would much rather show them to you in person.
