Which game would you send? Would it be a new game that would blow you away? Would it be a game that you never thought possible? Or would you send yourself an old game you wish you would have gotten into at the time?
For me I would send myself Metroid Prime.
The Metroid series has always been by favorite Nintendo series and I loved the 2D ones. I used to think a 3D one would never work and even put off playing Prime just because I thought it was too good to be true.
If I sent it back to my ten year old self I wouldn't be so hesitant about the switch over to 3D gaming and it would have been that much more awesome back then.

If I sent a game back to my ten year old self, I would probably be pretty pissed off that I didnt have a system that it worked on.

Not that you'd have a television that's compatible with a system that uses red/white/yellow audio/video cables.

Also, if you come into possession of a functioning time machine I think warning people about tragedies and such should be a priority.
