Ashley, Jefferson is a stand-up guy, and I would reason, a fantastic husband. You won't win any sympathy coming into his clubhouse...his temple...and complaining about him. You need to realize men have to have a break from married rituals, and allowed to indulge their masculine desires. Band of Brothers? At least it's not a marathon of Project: Runway. Or seven hours of MTV's Jackass. BoB has won awards, dear. It celebrates the camaraderie of soldiers in wartime. The very same soldiers that have died in the cause of this country, that allows us to sit down once a year giving thanks for our nation and our blessings. The fact that Jefferson needs to honor the heroes of history on a day that would rather try and celebrate crass commercialism? Not only is that understandable, it's damn well commendable. So, instead of complaining, you should be thanking him. Maybe even offer to give him oral sex while he's watching it. He's your husband. And since I know you're a hardline Christian, I also know that the Bible says "wives obey and honor thy husbands". So, if you're not going to listen to me, listen to Jesus.
