Just in case anyone doesn't know....don't miss Tuesday's (5/7) ep..."Seeing Red". This is where the season shifts gears going into the final eps of the season. UPN broadcasted the wildfeed of this week's ep by mistake LAST week - so it's been up on the internet and downloadable....can't believe the last three minutes!

I have to agree. Makes up for a rather dull season. One of SMG's stunt doubles quit (of course it was the good one)....so the fight scenes have been watered down this season, and put that with all this darkness Joss Whedon is getting out of his system, I have to say, I am least impressed with this season than out of all the others. Except now.....the tables have turned and the last few eps are going to make up for it.
The episode they just showed here was one where Willow went to some guy called Rack and had a car accident and there was a blatant, unsuttle, and unclever drug metaphor going on (we get the episodes a fair while after they're shown in the states, I think)... overall, not the best Buffy episode, by far. The best thing about this season has been the trio (those geek villain dudes), but they haven't been in it enough...

I'm a Buffy freak - but i see where you come from, Avatar - the vampires do seem to always be the lamest of the mosters she fights.
They don't fly, or turn into bats, or really have any kind of special power besides super strength. Their faces bump up when they transform from human to Vampire - something I had never seen or heard of before...I've never seen a movie where a vamp's face will morph just to get the teeth out.
