NBC just canceled 30Rock, Parks & Recreations, and Community. Their next act will be to hire and then RE-FIRE Conan O'Brien in an effort to finally shut their business down for good...

Did they seriously cancel 30 Rock, or did the creators decide it would end? I'm banned from Google. As expected, Parenthood has been renewed for a fourth season of 15 episodes by NBC. NBC also confirms that 30 Rock has been renewed for a seventh and final season of 13 episodes. These renewals join Law & Order: SVU which was renewed for a 14th season yesterday. NBC also picked up its 3rd and fourth new dramas Do No Harm and Infamous.

Yeah, all three shows I listed are getting "finale" seasons. But, after that, they're all done.

I'm sad about Community, but 6 1/2 seasons seems pretty respectable for 30 Rock. I'll probably get started on Parks and Recreation once it's over, then get sad.
And actually I'm watching the post-Carrell season of The Office right now and I think it's pretty good. In fact I'd say it's better than the last couple of seasons with Carrell, since they actually included less annoyingly sappy moments (I fucking hate when they start singing).

At least I still have How I Met Your Mother and Big Bang Theory,though HiMYM has hit its limit as far as Ted not meeting his wife. If he doesn't meet her by the end of this season its being moved to my wait-for-DVD list.

After the shitty final season of Chuck, the only thing I bother to watch on NBC anymore is Grimm so this is no big loss for me.
