Today at the shop we got double shipments,this week and next week's comics.Amongst those for next week,the all-important 700th issue of Amazing Spider-Man.I did flip through the issue and looks like the story is going exactly the way I thought it would after ASM #698. The story was leaked a few days ago but I won't spoil anything for those who don't wanna know. Not exactly sure how I feel about the direction Slott is going,but I'll keep an open mind and at least give Superior Spider-Man a shot and see if it's worth it. I will say that some of the more rabid fanboys' heads will most certainly asplode. After reading on Bleeding Cool that Slott has been receiving death threats through Twitter and Facebook,I'd say that'll be a given.

Peter Parker dies while in Doc Ock's body and Doc Ock takes over as Spiderman, right? I saw the scans and thought "damn, that takes some balls to do." I don't read Spiderman, but I would be interested to know what they would do with this. Also, we all know Peter Parker will be back in a year after this plays out.
