I just made some nachos. I usually like nachos. They please me. But I didn't have Nacho Cheese Doritos. I had Smoke barbecue Doritos. Now, when I was shopping this week, I decided that I felt like a change. Go the Smoke Barbecue, be different for a change. Got them home. Opened up the pack. Made some nachos. THEY TASTE LIKE ARSE. Or, so I'd imagine. You expect a certain amount of quality. You don't want to be surprised with some sort of arse-taste when you want some nachos. The lesson is this: Never try new things.

Well it was a pretty sucky idea in the first place. BBQ flavoured nachos? ugh. In Perth you can get shredded mozarella (sp?) in resealable packages. Great on nachos. Also, you should try Paul Newman's nacho sauce. Good stuff. CCs are best for the actual cornchips. Can't be beat.

I agree with Dave on the whole barbecue nachos bit. I mean, you really should have known better, Danny... I'm quite ashamed of you. I'm usually for melting some cheese and dumping lots of salsa, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, black olives, peppers, onions, and ranch dressing (trust me, it's tasty) on some Fritos or Tostitos corn chips... Mmmm... now I'm all hungry...

when i was in jr. high, we used to have food contests, where you'd make a terrible treat, then force your buddy to eat it. then he'd avenge himself in retaliation. so, anywho, barbq chips and cheese was often one of the more powerful combinations. nothing will beat my ritzcracker, easy cheese, ketchup and toothpaste combo, tho. worked everytime.
