That CGI statue is the shittiest CG I've seen in a long time. I think the first minute of this is really crap. Its meant to convey a sense of the plot but entirely fails to grab the imagination of the viewer. And yes, the shitty statue doesn't help.

I think the pose of the statue is supposed to be a call back to the flying pose from Superman one in 1939 but it's so poorly rendered it's hard to tell
