https://variety.com/2024/film/news/dc-studios-new-logo-classic-design-1236087226/

This decision was made by James Gunn, which gives you a clear idea as to how much influence he now has over the entirety of DC.

"Gunn joked about the decision to resurrect the old logo came to be. “I can pretend we worked long and hard on what that was,” he said. “But the truth is we knew what we wanted the logo to be when we were put in charge of DC Studios.”"

I’m just looking forward to the DCU having a sense of fun instead of the dour and cynical films that Snyder brought to theaters. I really wish he’d do something like a Planetary or Stormwatch series for HBO.

I'm frankly surprised he is going with The Authority in both superman and its own stand-alone movie. (Sadly, the Engineer is starting to look like the villain, whereas Angie, in the comic books, is the nicest of all of the characters.)

Seriously? That’s the kind of crap that happens when you hire writers that don’t love the source material. If that’s the case I’d rather them not touch Planetary.
