Anyone in here a fan? I recently became one, after watching several episodes on the Cartoon Network (I can't stand Dragonball Z, but will sit thru it just to catch the latest OUTLAW STAR on Toonami).
Until now, I've been mostly "old school" in my preferences of anime, sticking with stuff that I enjoyed as a kid....true old school stuff such as ASTRO BOY, BATTLE OF THE PLANETS (Gatchaman), Robotech, SPEED RACER...and stuff I discovered in college...Battle Angel, AKIRA, LENSMAN, VAMPIRE HUNTER D, and various mecha stuff (I love me some GIANT robots)...oh yeah...and POLTERGEIST REPORT, my favorite.
The story has actually interested me, but I think I've come in at the end of a story arc.
Basically, I began viewing it towards the end of the Outlaw Star's search for the Galactic Leylines, and am interested in some back story on this series. Any help?
