I actually buy almost every DC Archive that comes out as well, and that's basically monthly. Those are actually my favorite comic item..that I must have.
Planetary, Hellboy, Bone, Ultimate Spidey and Powers are books I love. But I only buy them in collected form or they come out a little too infrequently....so to me they don't really count.

I still buy X-Statix monthly, but that's about it. I usually pick up Gotham Central when it gets discounted.
Other than that, I go in spurts and follow creators, and I try to only buy singles if I can get them for less than cover price.

I used to be a DC chickie, but in the last year or two Marvel has had a few really great titles, Top 10 in no particular order: Alias Batman Detective Comics Ruse (though its not as good as it was when it first came out) ![[sad]](images/icons/frown.gif) Catwoman - this series is completely underrated Fables Y: the Last Man Hulk (ever since Bruce Jones took over, this title has kicked ass) Ultimate Spidey Ok, that's 10, but there are those I didn't take into account bc. they aren't ongoings - they are maxi series - i.e., Rising Stars, Batgirl: Year One, etc. Also, PJP - you cheated! The only current series that I'm reading right now is Doom Patrol, and I usually wait a couple of weeks before even getting that from my comic shop (the place is a ways away from me). I've been getting New X-Men, Authority, JSA and Planetary in trade paperbacks.
Other than that, there's not a whole lot worth reading out there right now, IMO. But then, I'm an old codger and my tastes are considerably different than you young whippersnappers :)

~ Hawkman ... mostly for Rags Morales' art, and Kendra's ass!
~ Aria (current miniseries) ... fell for Kildare long ago, that ancient-modern fae
~ Astro City (current miniseries) ... Kurt Busiek makes great stories
~ The Legion ... with issue 19, the art is superb again
