From Superman, I got two, both from a Moore story:

Superman (first series) Annual #11, page 25, panel 5.

Superman (to Jason Todd): Who... did this to me...?

The other one is the last panel of the first part of "Whatever happened to the man of tomorrow?". Superman cries with Krypto by his side and surrounded by his trophies in the Fortess of Solitude, because he knows the end is near.

"One punch" from an early JL issue stands out.

Really, I guess it was the group response panel.

I think its JLA number 8....That last panel shows Conner running, to rescue the League, with a boxing glove arrow in his bow. Thats a good pic.

From DKR, when Bats is gliding through the air. "I'm a man of 30 again, of 20." The full-page panel itself is notable because its the first time you see Batman in his costume, but also because there is such a huge, dramatic build-up to it, mirrored in the coming of the thunderstorm ("Like the wrath of God, its heading for Gotham"). Almost 2 decades later and that build-up still gives me a chill.

Not sure if it's all time but it is one awesome panel from Avengers #22 I think. The Avengers just got done whupping robot ass to get to Ultron's base. The wall explodes & there stand Thor,Cap & others looking the worse for wear & Thor says "Ultron...we would have words with thee." Pretty damn cool.

Mines still from Killing Joke, but it's the shot where Joker says 'Don't get even, get mad!' Bolland did an awesome job their, looking at it reminds me why the Joker's my all time favorite character.

Oh what the heck. The 2nd panel in "Armageddon", the Nick Fury, Agent Of S.H.I.E.L.D. story in STRANGE TALES #167. "Suddenly, before ANY can make another move, The Yellow Claw's ENTIRE COMPLEX is ROCKED by an ear-shattering paroxysm of penetrating BRUTE FORCE! Ripping inexorably UPWARD through steel and stone, comes an incredible, tapering LOBSTER-LIKE BORER, like some kind of TITANIC MONSTER OF THE DEEP! Flailing with SPIKE and SHEAR, the colossal DREADNOUGHT cleaves onward, while a vanguard of SHIELD'S SUICIDE SQUAD attacks with the vehement force of a wild TIDAL WAVE!"

"PERSONAL NOTE TO ALL FAITHFUL SHIELD FOLLOWERS FROM JIM STERANKO: It was absolutely impossible to present this mind-bending super-spectacle in anything less than a POWERFUL, PANORAMIC FOUR-PAGE SPREAD! To get the full effect, of course, requires a second ish placed side-by-side, but we think you'll find it well worth the price to have the wildest action scene EVER in the history of comics!"

I've got too many Batman panels to list just one.......My favorite non-Batman panel may be the last page of Spiderman/Blackcat #3 "The Evil That Men Do". Very powerful/disturbing last two pages......Hey maybe Kevin Smith will see this and remember that issue #4 was due like a freakin' year ago. [...rassamnfrackin...]

Mr. Miracle 9 (I think)...

...the title character, after pages and pages of trying to escape Apokolips...

...finally declares:

"I will be Scott Free and find myself!" (or thereabouts....I really need to look at that again!)

Declares his identity, purpose and main thrust of the series, all in an exciting, dynamic way (and, though there is no doubt in my mind, declares WHY KIRBY IS "THE KING"!)

From Superman (first series) Annual #11:

"Burn."

Coolest damn thing Superman ever said.

I think that's #55. You're right, that was pretty cool. By Ennis, of course.

Superman (second series) #121. Page 19. One big panel with Clark about to take off into the air to bring a girl who'd been shot to a hospital, with his shirt open revealing the s-shield. Jurgens at his finest.

Action #643: The two-page spread where Superman pastes Turmoil with a left roundhouse. (Honorable mention goes to the opening splash panel with Superman standing atop The Daily Planet.

Detective #617: Another two-page spread--Batman swinging down on his rope, literally tearing the roof off the Joker's car with a single kick while a gigantic bat's head looms in the background. For my money, that's the greatest Batman image of all time.
