Wolverine #1 only 2.25?

Am I wrong?

After Marvel re-launches a title they usually jack up the price tag to 2.99.

Only Captain Marvel before this was spared a price raise only because writer Peter David flipped hid lid.

I read Wolverine but It's really not the greatest of books so I couldn't justify spending 2.99 on a book I only read to pass the time.

Soo...your complaining about not getting ripped off? :)

No I see what your saying though. But in the bast Marvel always came up with a reason to rip people off. Basically. With Daredevil and Captain America...they moved to the Marvel Knights imprint where it's standard to be 3 bucks an issue. Why? I don't really know. That's just Marvel's math for you.

How about this? The whole story's a reprint. It ran in Wi$ard last month. The whole damn story. Do you feel gouged now?

I know I'd feel gouged if I bought Wizard. I remember how they printed ALL of Geoff Johns' first Avengers story. I hadn't realized it had been the entire story and still bought the stupid issue. Got so annoyed that it put me off the book completely and I never bought another issue.

They relaunched Wolverine? Why cancel a series that was almost up to 200 issues just to get a new #1? It's not like Wolverine' suffering from lack of popularity.

Especially after X2.

Plus Rucka's Wolverine preview in Wizard sucked.

I though Logan had come a long way from his eating a lone can of beans in a rundown apartment days but I guess I was wrong.

They made him look dingy and homely I didn't like that I felt it was a step back.

I just hope Rucka's Wolverine doesn't bleed into the Wolverine in the other X-titles.
