That has to do with their shitty organization. The con organizers see Star Trek and Star Wars as their big go-getters and put Doctor Who at the bottom. They plan and book rooms according to that idea.
What's funny is, this year I counted more David Tennant's and Firefly Browncoats than I did Stormtroopers. Ha!
Hopefully the organizers will come to see that Trek and Wars are the fading dinosaurs, and get with the actual popular franchises...
