well, i am scared shitless of feely. his misses roughly as often as charlie brown did.

but its difficult to think of the jets, even in their good runs, as a true, true threat. whenever you're playing the likes of the pats or the giants or cowboys or steelers, win or not, those teams are always considered at least challenges. the jets are typically thought of as underdogs at best, and rightly so. they're still that kinda team, even with favre, but they're gambling now, which is perfect for them. they're taking the necessary risks they need to compete and its paying off. they're like the smalltown team (smalltown manhattan?) competing in the big leagues. so, really, its just exciting to watch them play and hope for the best.

i also think that they'll continue to get better the more they play, as the team can adjust to favre and vice versa (which is also why i think brett will be back next year).
