He got out when he knew it was coming. He didn't sit there and bitch and moan and die like most the katrina people did. How many times do we have to go over this?

Wed night in a horrible ice storm power went out to thousands of homes in my area, mine included.
We stuck out the night here at the house. I waited diligently for President Obama and the United States all seeing, all knowing all powerful military to come to my rescue. Where were the helicopters? Where was the aid? Why didn't he send Special Forces in to get the electric running?
As the next day moved in we decided that we couldn't sit in the cold any longer waiting for the military that should have saved us. We had two choices, go south to Kentucky or north to some towns we heard still had power for supplies.

If he had applied the same stratagy with Katrina he may have found himself with no way of seeking shelter.
