Dear Frank:

Others refer to your posts as "spam," but I see their inner brilliance. Time and again, I've sifted through dozens of your posts on a Saturday morning. They alternate between informative and entertaining. While other people (like the Iconolasts) and other alts try to do what you do, none of them hold a candle to your genius.

But lately you've been...erratic in your posting. There've been some Saturdays where I wake up, looking forward to reading your work as I enjoy a coffee and bagel (yes, Frank, I liken you to a weekend newspaper, to be leisurely digested with one's breakfast), only to find...nothing. Sure, you make up for it in the afternoon, but it's not the same. Your posts just aren't the same.

Which brings us to today. No posts. Frank, when I was a kid, I loved Saturday morning cartoons. Loved them. I would get excited when the networks' ads for that season's cartoons would appear in my favorite comics. There were a few Saturdays when my brother and I actually brought down our smaller TV so we could watch two shows that we wanted to see. The most heartbreaking day of my young life was when we turned on the TV and some live action show was on. We knew that the Golden Age (GA) of Saturday morning cartoons was dying.

Do you understand, Frank? You are the Saturday morning cartoons of these boards. We need you. We need your entertainment and knack for the informative. The quotes you dig up grace signatures all across the interwebs, Frank. And when you don't post...well, I think you understand. So, please Frank, please make a little more effort. I thank you in advance, Frank.
