A vastly overrated horror movie. While it's a pretty intense flick, the big "twist" renders the first three-quarters (tee hee!) of the film nonsensical and moot. Go see L'Interieur ("Inside") and then talk to me. And, if you're looking for "screwy" horror movies, let me know. I'll offer some recommendations that I guarantee will make your friends watch with their jaws hanging, thinking "WTF???"

John Carpenter's The Thing


The film that made me a horror fan. Virtually flawless from start to finish. If you haven't already, check out the rest of Carpenter's "Apocalypse Trilogy:" Prince Of Darkness and In The Mouth Of Madness.
