Arn was really underappreciated for much of his career. I think that's in part because he spent so much time in tag teams, he never really made a run at the top tier singles titles. also, because he wasn't flashy. he and Tully were truly one of the all time great tag teams. I think Arn has suffered from what so many people suffer from when they work primarily in a tag team enviroment where someone else is the "front man", if you will. Flair pretty much dominated the Horsemen in most promos, and was a key focus in the ring as well, so people tended to overlook Arn. the fact that Arn understood and accepted his role contributed to this. he wanted to enhance Ric not try and steal any spotlight. He likely could have demanded a push anytime during his career but i think he really liked the dynamic of the horsemen.

Theres always been wrestlers here and there who have preferred to be in the background, making others shine, which is great, but sadly it always leaves them somewhat forgotten by anyone other than "real" wrestling fans.

I mentioned this in another thread that I didn't realise how over Tully Blanchard was - he almost rivalled Flair! Blanchard, like Anderson accepted his role in the Horsemen and could have alsodemanded a push anytime. And like Arn, he doesn't get the credit he deserves.

I was watching the most powerful families in wrestling dvd - WIndham looks terrible.
I really liked the idea of when he formed the Blackjacks along with JBL - shame it didn't go anywhere.

Are you really that dense? The Brainbusters were sorta over but not nearly as big as they were in the NWA. Flair in his retirement was over more than they were. This is no dig at Arn and Tully they were over but not close to the level Flair ever was in the WWE even on his weaker runs(the last few years).

The jacket was exclusively worn during his Hall of Fame induction and and live in front of fans at WrestleMania XX at Madison Square Garden. As far as the ring is concerned, it managed to sell for $11,500.00 to a legitimate bidder. When asked a few weeks ago why he was selling the ring, Graham responded with the following on the auction page: “Today, July 14, 2009 I received an email From Mike Aldren of the http://www.the-sun.co.uk/wrestling asking me if the selling of my WWE Hall of Fame ring was actually legitimate and if yes, why would I want to depart with it? First off, I owe no one an explanation as to why I want to sell this beautiful WWE ring. In a recent board meeting Vince McMahan said ” That there will never be an actual physical Hall of Fame building and that the Hall of Fame only exists in my head.” Dispite the many public claimes by Shane McMahan that there in fact would be a physical Hall of Fame building in the near future. Further more, I have never been sentimental about The WWE or anything connected with Profestional wrestling in general.” As I said before, if he isnt sentimental about the business of WWE, why is he so pissed off that there is not going to be a physical hall of fame? On top of that, how can he be furious with Vince as he has never indicated that there will be a physical hall of fame? Surely its Shane who he should be directing his anger at, seeing as he is the one who made the promises or claims.

well, he's obviously lying about never being sentimental about anything, as we know from what happened to him after he lost the title to Backlund. as I said before, he probably needs money and this is his excuse, or he's just having a fit about Vince not making an actual Hall of Fame (which is a cool idea, but not likely to ever happen).

As a wrestler I would think you would want an actual Hall of Fame separate from the WWE as an and all inductions are tainted by what is deemed profitable by the WWE rather than voted on by peers or a somewhat objective board.
