Unreal Tournament III's campaign is disappointing as shit. Actually, the game itself doesn't hold a candle to the first two UT games. Though if anyone wants to run a co-op or Duel, PM me, and if my internet connection cooperates, I'll add ya.

I'm playing Monkey Island 5! I find that I enjoy it much more with the voices turned off.

They announced a PC version of that game today at comic con. Its also the best selling download only game on consoles.

Its not surprising its done so well, its only got 4 islands and is online only, so its about a quarter of the price of a normal game, but has the graphics and gameplay you expect from a current gen console, unlike so many of the downloadable games.

It uses the same game engine as Battlefield:Bad company, so anyone familiar with that on the consoles will be able to get into this straight away.

The only thing I dont like about it at the moment is that the planes are bloody difficult to control.

Burnout only has one map, but still has more variety and allows you to race in different-looking places, in either night or day. Need for Speed Carbon kinda bummed me out that I always have to race at night so all the stages looked the same.

Upgrading my shit videocard with a less shit videocard is totally worth it. This is the first time I've been able to run games at max settings. And the first time I've seen my PC churn out PS3 level graphics. The crashes looked fairly realistic and I'm not sure if it's FMV or done in-game as the transition between the gameplay and the crash scenes are seamless.

Only complaint I have with burnout is it gets annoying because the background music always starts with Paradise City, which is an awesome song except if you have to listen to it a lot.

Marvel vs. Capcom 2

I just installed this today. Am now at the part where Logan has to escape the weapon x facility. I'm currently having a hard time trying to get out of the floodgate because Logan's weakness is water.

The only thing I found difficult on this game is the final battle with Deadpool.
I played it on normal mode, and that cunt was almost impossible to defeat, so you can imagine that when I played the game on the hardest level, I kinda gave up with trying to defeat him!

I am going to find a trainer for when I get to him. Fuck deadpool.

I like this game. I didn't expect it to be so good because I have the PSP version, which is shit. The graphics and gameplay look like a playstation 1 game. The only thing that it has in common with the PC version is the FMV cutscenes.

To my understanding, the PC, PS3 and 360 all had this version (the uncaged edition, as it was called) but the Wii, PSP and PS2 all got the shitty, nuts cut off version, with slightly different game play, and next to no blood n gore.
I saw a clip of the Wii version, where the fight with Creed takes place on the back of a moving log truck, rather than the cabin and the yard outside the cabin.

USB cable + male/male audio connector + PSP fat + Remotejoy lite + xpadder = Tekken Dark Ressurection on my PC.



only drawback is that the PSP only has a 480 x 272 max screen resolution so fullscreen kind of makes the games look like a PS1 game.

Batman: Arkham Asylum

Hey Jeffonious, have you played Quantum of solace yet?
It actually uses the same game engine as the legendary Modern Warfare, so you should enjoy it.

Sadly, just like COD4, the story mode is too short, but the online obviously works similar to COD4 online!

I will now! I normally skip Bond games (yeah, even Goldeneye), but that sounds like one I'd like.

I picked up the collectors edition yesterday for £12, so I'd assume you can pick it up cheap in the USA as well!


In fact, just looking at Amazon.com, you can pick up the standard version off marketplace for $16 or so.
