Jay always said that he would never allow what happened between him and Lettermen to happen again, he even said he would make the transition from him to Conan as smooth as possible and not stop Conan from shining. He's said that and there are clips up online you can watch him saying so, yeah he kind of got a bum deal from NBC that said they would give the show to Conan but he certainly has not helped, if he wanted he could have told them no that Conan deserved the show and to give him a chance but instead what does he do? He jumps right back into the show, he would never have gave it up to Conan in the first place if he could have kept it and he would do whatever he can to keep it as well.

He always acts like he's the victim but the man is a schemer, he wants what he wants and does whatever he can to get it. He doesn't care about stepping on anyone to do it, he did it to Lettermen and he even forced out Carson in the first place to get the show. There is a reason that a lot of people hate the man and even more lately, his true colors are showing and it shows what an utter ass the man is. You can't trust or believe in him.

It's kind of scary how a few people including Howard Stern even warned people Conan of this happening and guess what, it happened.
