As someone with some familiarity of the music genres he cites, and having both stayed at a Best Western AND read a novella and script, I can say that his music can best be describes as "Blue Man Group meets Lady Gaga with a heaping helping of My Chemical Romance and just a dash of Ministry to keep him honest." Basically, it's Grendel recording himself on his computer, banging on pots and pans while reciting/growling/whining Sikkbones' lyrics, then programs all sorts of "dark" beeps and boops so you can "dance" to it. It's an 80s video game featuring an emo kid having a temper tantrum in a kitchen. And if that isn't a great way to describe an Iconolasts soundtrack, I dunno what is.
