Just think. If the federal government had been more aggressive against them back then academia might not be so infested with anti-American socialists and Bill Ayers, instead of advising the president, might have been put in prison.

If Hoover had taken down the Mafia when he had the chance instead of being friends with them, then USA wouldn't have a Mafia today.
If he had ordered COINTELPRO to focus on the Ku Klux Klan instead of the Black Panther movement who originally just wanted drugs away from the streets, then the KKK would have been long gone and "lefties" would stand in line to teabag Hoover. (Or would he teabag them? Whatever floats his boat.)
But most importantly: If someone had exposed Ayn Rand for the bastich she was in time, then maybe Steve Ditko and reaxstardust would be sane today.

Liberals who bemoan discrimination, intolerance, restraint of Constitutional freedoms, and promotion of hatred toward various abberant minorities, have absolutely no problem with discriminating against, being intolerant of, restricting Constitutional freedoms of, and directing hate-filled scapegoat rhetoric against conservatives.
EXACTLY what they accuse Republicans/conservatives of doing, is EXACTLY what liberals/Democrats do themselves, to those who oppose their beliefs.
