the new iphone is a phenomenal device. the new apps are awesome, the screen is awesome, etc. the phone (for current at&t users) is shit. well, it's not shit shit, the voice quality is actually pretty awesome. but the phone reception or range or signal or lack-of-auto-hangup is poo, and certainly not up par with, say, verizon. whether or not the new phone has dead spots, to me, seems irrelevant - or at least unnoticeable. not because the problem isn't bad, but moreso because how do you spot a problem within a pile of other problems?
