They knew Katrina was coming. They should have been gone by then.


that makes me sad that you actually believe that. there were people who didn't know it was coming, which to many people might sound impossible but its fact. and people who did know it was coming, which most people did, couldn't afford to get out of the city, as they live pay check to paycheck, and dont have the means to go stay in a hotel, or get a bus out of the city, etc.

and besides the fact, the national guard dropped them off at the bridge, they didnt have a choice in being there
