I'm actually surprised how good they are.

The first time I remember being disappointed in him was "S1m0ne", but he probably did other shitty movies before that I didn't watch.
He's still a good actor, he just keeps picking shit movies. Same with DeNiro.

The trouble with these hollywood actors is that they eventually become so recognizable in real life that it overshadows the characters they play if the story didn't give them a chance to perform really well.
I mean, I doubt anybody could watch Salt and not feel that it's just Angelina Jolie playing someone else.
