its all part of my fabulous plans! the dc boards are down, and thus, more people need to post in my forums! quickly! bring your discussions to my comic book forums! i NEED them!! and remember... MY boards'll never letchya down like those horrible dc boards!  we're currently running several server diagnostics and upgrades on the dc boards servers now, so, timing might be a little off (in fact, the boards might be entirely down for portions of this weekend). we hope to get'em up and running soon! sorry for the delay

It's Tuesday, noon (CST), and the DC message boards have been inaccessible since about this time last Friday. What are you not telling us, Kamphausen? Did the Hal v. Kyle holy war on the Green Lantern boards go nuclear? Is it something someone said in the "Kiss of Death" thread -- something so horrible that it crashed all the DC message boards? Now, many of us would be proud to have put that thread out of its misery -- but (and I'm sure I speak for others here) I hadn't even got around to posting the filthiest joke I know. So, was it the posts that made fun of cripples, or the dreadful 19th-century natural-history poetry, or the threat to post extracts from ass-grindingly tedious 19th-century philosophical tracts, or everyone's favorite virgin Christian Batman fan telling the filthiest joke she knows? And what about the black helicopters?

unfortunately, none of those actions can claim victory over the dcmbs. but, rather, they were shut down for internal fixes, errors, diagnostics, and upgrades. the problems you mentioned only get rid of the posters, themselves
