I was planning on replaying Final Fantasy X, but gave up after 15 minutes of hearing the crappy voice acting. I'm starting to wonder how I managed to finish this thing when I first played it. I remember my testicles retracting when I first got to the Yuna/Tidus laughing scene. I'm afraid that if I manage to watch that scene again, my balls and my penis will come to life and watch Twilight: Eclipse on their own.

I finally pirated Batman: Arkham Asylum even though I am not sure if my paltry videocard can handle it. But surprise, surprise, it ran fullspeed on mid settings, and the graphics are amazing even at the lowest settings. It's a better optimized port than X-Men Origins: Wolverine (which didn't have a lot of options for changing detail settings outside of low/high detail toggle and resolutions).

Plants VS Zombies just got "game of the year"ed. Now it has twenty new achievements and you can make your own zombie. No new levels though.

Dragon Age Origins.

The story is a Lord of the Rings rip-off and I hate the very low Level cap (25), which prevents me from having one man army characters, since even at the max level, I can still die from normal mobs/enemies. But the game is enjoyable enough. I used the dev console cheat to breeze through the game. Got my approval ratings for the companion to 100 and shagged the slutty mage, broke up with her afterwards and shagged the goody two shoes rogue, broke up with her afterwards and shagged the elf assassin, and then broke up with him too. I'm currently trying to court the party's pet Dog but it seems the game doesn't allow you to shag it.

There's an ultimate version of that coming out with all the dlc for 60 bucks. I'm gonna wait until then to try it out.

One of the party members, Alistair, is gonna remind you of Snarf. Except with hair.

I just got a nintendo DS

I'm disappointed graphics wise. It won't hold a candle to my deceased PSP, with their 3d stuff only being on par with the Sega Saturn or the PS1, but the art styles more than makes up for it (as well as the small screen). There's just some 3D games that are ugly and look like you're controlling something that was drawn by a bored 3 year old kid (Force unleashed looks like crap).

The screen is unwieldy, as I'm not used to the stylus. Using my fingers on the other hand, reminds me of that Always Sunny in Philly episode with Frank breaking Dennis' touchscreen phone with his greasy fingers.

Currently Playing Nintendogs. I named the dog "Ass" and trained him to sit when I say "Gay"

Get an R4 revolution card and you will enjoy the Ds even more.

Just tried Kingdom Hearts 358-2 days. It could almost be mistaken for a PS2 game.

Nintendo updated the DSi to block most of those cards, I don't know if that affects the DS. There should be a way to get around it soon enough.

And the makers of the cards upgraded their firmware to support the DSi/XL.

The card I'm using, iEdge, supports DSi. The older one called simply Edge doesn't.

Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction for the Gamecube.

I wonder why the SEGA Incredible Hulk port on the PC got panned so hard while this game is universally lauded. It's almost the same sandbox-type game, only differing in the story and the graphics.

I got into the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm beta.

Its awesome. The game is basically complete and I don't have to pay for it.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. I didn't know my PC could run this game reasonably well at the highest settings (everything maxed, 1280x1024 res). Still not fullspeed, I'm getting around 40-60+ fps according to fraps, which is playable enough considering that I'm perfectly happy with the Wii's 30 fps.

Dont we have enough masturbatory information on these boards, what with socks etc.

So how is Web of Shadows?

I bought that a year ago, and still haven't gotten around to it yet...

I found Web of Shadows enjoyable enough, but the PC Version is so buggy and poorly ported that I stopped halfway through and uninstalled the game.

If you're playing the console version, I don't know if it's buggy as well. I'd recommend it if it doesn't have the same gamebreaking bugs as the PC (inconsistent speed, voices and animations that glitch out, enemies that get stuck in the air instead of dying, etc)

Web Of Shadows uses the same basic sandbox format of the movie based games, but is a lot better in its execution than the god awful Spidey 3 game.

I really enjoyed it.
Being able to switch between the traditional Spidey suit and the symbiote suit gives you different power sets and also affects how the public react to you. (red suit equals positive reaction, black suit equals negative).


Controls can get a but fiddly climbing buildings, but its a small problem in the scheme of things.

I put over 100 hours into Spider-Man 2...then that POS of Spider-Man 3 was released, and I fought with that for maybe 10 minutes. That one had the shittest camera EVAR...

I just dont understand how they fucked up Spidey 3 so badly. It was basically the same game as the first two, but it just sucked so bad.

Theres also plenty of cameos through out Web of shadows, ranging from Wolverine to Luke Cage to Moon Knight etc, and when you build up a certain energy bar, you can call on one of them to help clear out an area etc.
If you make the dark decisions when battling a boss, you will only be able to call on villains like The Vulture to help you out.

they've done this similar to the Wolverine Origins franchise, haven't they? With the PS2 and handheld ports being crappy sidescrollers?
