divorced. It was made official yesterday. Very bittersweet day. Happy about the future and new possibilities but sad to lose someone I thought I would grow old with. Such is life. Thanks....I went on two dates already! One with a 21 year old who threw up in my car on the way home at the end of the night and a 24 year old last night which went very well. She may be a little too nice for me right now. I don't really want to be in a relationship for awhile. I want to enjoy being single again for as long as possible. I was fine these past few weeks and even yesterday but got a little blue today thinking of the good times.

And until you are able to establish some rituals all your own, you will feel these longing moments. A good friend of mine went through the same thing a while back, so I'm just speaking from his experience. Once he got into a personal routine away from old habits, it became easier for him to get on with life. Either way, it will take time. I'm glad you're out on the scene again!
