Mark Ruffalo is on Kimmel tonight and he said that The Hulk will be the out cast of the movie which makes me hope that the Avengers movie will follow the first arc of the Ultimates comic.
November 6th, 2012: Americas new Independence Day.

I just saw Thor today. In crappy 3D (I actually removed my 3d glasses halfway through and noticed no difference).
Awesome movie, though. It's not as good as Iron Man, but it works. I especially loved how they didn't try to cheese it with the romance angle, and focused more on Thor's relationship with Loki. I also liked the fight scenes with the Frost Giants, I can actually picture this Thor having an epic battle with the movie Hulk.
I don't dig the Warriors three and Sif. They felt unnecessary and awkward(especially Sif, since Thor already has a love interest with NatPort)
I liked it too. It's cool that they played it straight when they had to play it straight (in Asgard) and they made it funny when it had to be funny (on Earth). Towards the end I lost interest and actually dozed off, but that's partly because I saw a very early preview screening.
Didn't like the Warriors Three either: the actors were cool (Tito Pullo!), but you could practically hear the writer going "okay, let's make the Chinese guy say something now I guess". Sif was even worse: it's like they decided to add her later on and went through the script replacing some Warriors Three lines with her name.
I did like the human characters, especially Kat Dennings, because I've seen her boobies on Google and they're pretty great.

Around the 46 second mark there's a bunch of Shield dudes surrounding a cabin with a green glow in it. This makes me hopeful for the Hulk tearing shit up and being the bad guy in this movie.

I saw Cap today. It was awesome. As for your Hulk=Bad Guy theory, I would imagine it will be something like, say, the origin of The Avengers. Where Loki tricks the world into thinking the Hulk is responsible for some great whatever and they Assemble(!) to stop him. Then join forces with him. Then they go out to a swinging groove club with Jan and Hank...
I didn't see the Norton Hulk film but didn't Downey have a cameo as Stark in which he indicate that they were putting a team together? If so, that would seem to indicate that Hulk and/or Banner is recruited for the team, as opposed to being a "villain."

IIRC, Stark's cameo in Norton's Hulk was him approaching Fury and indirectly/snarkily offering his help against the hulk problem.

Actually,it was Stark approaching General Ross, offering help and telling him they were putting a team together.
