I don’t recall you weighing in on, for example, this recent incident.
I honestly never saw the thread. What are you driving at? Spell it out. So, on this you're just: "I'm on The Right, and these guys are kind of Lefty....I mean, except for some of the Republican protestors, that is...besides them, totally Liberal. And those pesky Tea Partyers joining in. And unions. And the Libertarians. BUT-besides all of those, absolutely, completely Liberal. And wrong."
Let go of the past. Yes, the "dirty Hippies" laughed at your flattop. But, that doesn't mean 120 years later you can't remember what it was like to be young, and brave enough to stand up for what's right and not just what's popular or profitable? Can't you?
Police have arrested dozens of protesters after the Occupy Wall Street movement shut down the Brooklyn Bridge, stranding motorists as thousands of marchers, who have been camping out in the Financial District for weeks, made their way through Lower Manhattan.
About 100 cars were left stuck as the crowd covered the span from end to end in yet another day of demonstrations against high unemployment, bank bailouts and economic uncertainty for the masses.
The Brooklyn Bridge is hardly there for the exclusive use of billionaires or corporations. In fact, the bulk of people using it are middle class and lower class.
Typical hippie behavior. They get desperate for attention and start inconveniencing the very people they claim to be standing up for.

You are being misled. I have already been seeing announcements from the site, on Twitter, confirming that the police lead the protestors there while directing their march, closed the exits, and then arrested them. The corporate media is using you. Believe what you like.
This was unanimously voted on by all members of Occupy Wall Street last night, around 8pm, Sept 29. It is our first official document for release. We have three more underway, that will likely be released in the upcoming days: 1) A declaration of demands. 2) Principles of Solidarity 3) Documentation on how to form your own Direct Democracy Occupation Group. This is a living document. you can receive an official press copy of the latest version by emailing c2anycga@gmail.com.
Declaration of the Occupation of New York City
As we gather together in solidarity to express a feeling of mass injustice, we must not lose sight of what brought us together. We write so that all people who feel wronged by the corporate forces of the world can know that we are your allies.
As one people, united, we acknowledge the reality: that the future of the human race requires the cooperation of its members; that our system must protect our rights, and upon corruption of that system, it is up to the individuals to protect their own rights, and those of their neighbors; that a democratic government derives its just power from the people, but corporations do not seek consent to extract wealth from the people and the Earth; and that no true democracy is attainable when the process is determined by economic power. We come to you at a time when corporations, which place profit over people, self-interest over justice, and oppression over equality, run our governments. We have peaceably assembled here, as is our right, to let these facts be known.
They have taken our houses through an illegal foreclosure process, despite not having the original mortgage.
They have taken bailouts from taxpayers with impunity, and continue to give Executives exorbitant bonuses.
They have perpetuated inequality and discrimination in the workplace based on age, the color of one’s skin, sex, gender identity and sexual orientation.
They have poisoned the food supply through negligence, and undermined the farming system through monopolization.
They have profited off of the torture, confinement, and cruel treatment of countless nonhuman animals, and actively hide these practices.
They have continuously sought to strip employees of the right to negotiate for better pay and safer working conditions.
They have held students hostage with tens of thousands of dollars of debt on education, which is itself a human right.
They have consistently outsourced labor and used that outsourcing as leverage to cut workers’ healthcare and pay.
They have influenced the courts to achieve the same rights as people, with none of the culpability or responsibility.
They have spent millions of dollars on legal teams that look for ways to get them out of contracts in regards to health insurance.
They have sold our privacy as a commodity.
They have used the military and police force to prevent freedom of the press.
They have deliberately declined to recall faulty products endangering lives in pursuit of profit.
They determine economic policy, despite the catastrophic failures their policies have produced and continue to produce.
They have donated large sums of money to politicians supposed to be regulating them.
They continue to block alternate forms of energy to keep us dependent on oil.
They continue to block generic forms of medicine that could save people’s lives in order to protect investments that have already turned a substantive profit.
They have purposely covered up oil spills, accidents, faulty bookkeeping, and inactive ingredients in pursuit of profit.
They purposefully keep people misinformed and fearful through their control of the media.
They have accepted private contracts to murder prisoners even when presented with serious doubts about their guilt.
They have perpetuated colonialism at home and abroad.
They have participated in the torture and murder of innocent civilians overseas.
They continue to create weapons of mass destruction in order to receive government contracts.*
To the people of the world,
We, the New York City General Assembly occupying Wall Street in Liberty Square, urge you to assert your power.
Exercise your right to peaceably assemble; occupy public space; create a process to address the problems we face, and generate solutions accessible to everyone.
To all communities that take action and form groups in the spirit of direct democracy, we offer support, documentation, and all of the resources at our disposal.
Oh and predictable as ever. Here come the "whomod" references. God, I hope you finally get to fuck him one day. Okay, G-Man. I didn't realize it was pointless to try and crank-start that black organ you call a heart...
I can't "prove" anything to you until I can find proof. It's hard to report on what's actually going on when the multimedia is blocking this step-by-step. This is real.
Sure you did. You did the exact same thing you did on the 9/11 thread. You admitted you couldn't prove your point and then blamed it it on some interests blocking "the truth," thereby forcing you to rely on specious sources for your unproven theories.
Whatever you like, old man. I've already told you the truth. If you want to scream at some kids on your lawn, have at it. The next generations will just walk over you...
"These protests is not about left & right, don't let the mainstream media make you believe otherwise, this is not just a left wing movement. The protesters are highlighting corrupt financial institutions & their hold on both sides of the political divide. We all need to forget about partisan affiliations, get this criminal elite off our backs & work together to sort out the planet."

That video tends to disprove your point.
The hippies are blocking the bridge, which is illegal, and are being arrested for engaging in illegal behavior. The police didn't force them onto the bridge. The police simply asked them to walk on the sidewalk, and not the roadway so they didn't endanger themselves or vehicles.
Furthermore, the description, which you posted, says nothing about the police tricking them into blocking the bridge. Instead it talks about how “[t]he protesters are highlighting corrupt financial institutions & their hold on both sides of the political divide.”
And, as noted before, the idea of blocking the Brooklyn Bridge to protest “corrupt financial institutions” is non-sensical:

Yeah, but...I'm a corporate dirtbag lawyer in real life, and I carry over my shilling for them in court into all aspects of my pathetic personal life.
NYTimes But many protesters said that they thought the police had tricked and trapped them, allowing them onto the bridge and even escorting them across, only to surround them in orange netting after hundreds of them had entered.
“The cops watched and did nothing, indeed, seemed to guide us on to the roadway,” said Jesse A. Myerson, a media coordinator for Occupy Wall Street who was in the march but was not arrested.
Etan Ben-Ami, 56, a psychotherapist from Brooklyn who was up on the walkway, said that the police seemed to make a conscious decision to allow the protesters to claim the road. “They weren’t pushed back,” he said. “It seemed that they moved at the same time.”
Mr. Ben-Ami said he left the walkway and joined the crowd on the road. “It seemed completely permitted,” he said. “There wasn’t a single policeman saying ‘don’t do this’.”
He added: “We thought they were escorting us because they wanted us to be safe.” He left the bridge when he saw officers unrolling the nets as they prepared to make arrests.
Yeah, but...the police said they didn't entrap them. And the cops never lie, or do anything wrong. Like, I don't know, beating innocent American citizens, or corralling young female college students and macing them until they cry. Which I will ignore in an effort to nullify your point of oppression. The Corporate Will of the Tea Party Right demands it!
I bet they are more college educated than I am. I bet there's a good percentage of them that have been brainwashed into becoming professional protesters. I bet some have even been bussed from here in Eugene. Protesting is big business for some.
Wouldn't them having money make them evil? Or is there some sort cut off between good and evil when it comes to how much you make?

Yes, I know you have a bad experience with the Eugene hippies. But, they're not all like that, man.

Having money is not the issue, rex. It's what you do with it that matters. Do you use it to make the world a better place? Or do you use it to selfishly satisfy your own personal whims at the expense of others less fortunate?
I use the money I make to make myself happy. Sometimes that includes buying things for others but I don't waste it on things like the homeless. Why should I help anyone else?

I'm sure george soros is doing a bang-up job of making the world a better place.
you do realize, though, that anyone can justify just about anything if they're able to somehow convince the public that it'll somehow 'make the world a better place', right? that's a pretty vague objective, and it's hard to come by truly big money without being able to blow at least a little smoke here and there.

What does whoever that is have to do with anything I said? I hope you're not thinking with a partisan brain there...
