Giving a brief mention of entitlement programs does not cover anything about the historically racist mentality of democrats and democratic leaders throughout the most oppressive or violent episodes of racism (the Civil War politicians, Trail of Tears, KKK, etc).
Yeah, good on you for admitting that the democratic party patronizes the demographics it claims to care about. But deliberately avoiding the most gruesome aspects of their political history just so you can say they're no worse or better than their counterparts--or simply say the republicans were in fact the more racist aggressors--does nothing for your vie for credibility on the matter.
