i got to go to thursday's taping!

louis ck AND triumph were there!

the first time i ever tried to go to a conan show was in 1993, the first year, and both louis CK and triumpht (robert smiegel) were pretending to be authors in a sketch. i got kicked outta that one cuz we showed up too late for the small theater, but last night was at the beacon, which holds 2,000 or so people.

the night also had jon stewart, steven colbert, a host guy from bravo tv that katfox knew, a gay wedding with conan as the official minister, and some scary lady from pan am that never got on tv. bummer max didn't show up all week. it all went very quickly, but was really awesome. his show and persona are much more suited for a new york environment, so its sad to see him off to california again.
