Cain damaged his own candidacy with a lack of foreign policy knowledge. And that has nothing to do with the unproven sexual allegations you're gloating about.

I reconsidered and decided not to. I think I was also critical of McCain once going playing a character when he was up for reelection in 2010. He's become more and more just another hack politician. The entire problem with your argument is that it has been "who will screw up the least" for many elections now. I'm done playing the hold my nose and vote game. It is bullshit.

As for "pretending," I've never shied away from my conservative beliefs. They are dear to me and I cherish them. However, I will not be forced into supporting people who I find repugnant because I'm told that their party is the party that represents my beliefs. They have proven that wrong time and time again. It would be nice to say that I could support Gingrich with no problem. But, the guy is a globalist no more or less than Obama is. So, no matter how good he may sound in the debates, I can't really--when all is said and done--support him.

Personally, I think you and most other people in this nation are blind sheep being led to the slaughter. You've become so convinced by the idea that it will never happen here that you refuse to recognize--Republican or Democrat--it is happening here. The GOP has a rot in its gut that has been around since, at least, 1980. We were sold Bush for VP or bust by an establishment that wanted to takeover. They did and we've been twisting ourselves and our beliefs into knots for the past thirty years try to accommodate them. They, in turn, learned to use the dynamic populism of the Reagan Revolution to try and keep the sheep in line. That's my fight with the Grand Ole' Party. My vote is sacred. Yours should be sacred to you. If they want it then they better damn well earn it. Our country is in the state it is in because we continually settle.

I do not like Gingrich. He is only two pegs above McCain. He would destroy either Obama or Biden in a debate and I would enjoy seeing it, but I would not like voting for him. Bearing that it mind however, I'm not so childish as to assert that it would not be worth it to vote for him simply because I dislike him as well as Obama. And I certainly wouldn't be so stupid as to assume that his performance would mirror Obama's based on the fact that they're both Globalists.

My vote is sacred. And that's exactly why I'll hold my nose and vote as many times as it takes to alleviate any further damage done to the country. Whining about how none of the candidates are good enough is all well and fine, but it doesn't really amount to anything when you consider someone is going to get elected with or without your approval. What your forgetting or leaving out is that Clinton only had Jennifer Flowers claiming they had an affair while he was in the primaries. Cain hasn't even gotten to a primary yet and we've already have a handful.

As for Cain's other problems, after W I wouldn't bet on any of that actually stopping him.

There were several allegations that Bill Clinton had other affairs, while he was still campaigning. But since no one else came forward to show themselves as Gennifer Flowers did, the (liberal) media treated them as if they did not exist. Even after Paula Jones and Juanita Broaddrick revealed themselves (the latter being a highly respected DNC fundraiser), the media (opposite of Herman Cain's attackers were treated) viciously trashed their reputations. When Monica Lewinsky's friend Linda Tripp gave the nation an audiotaped smoking gun of Lewinsky aadmitting all on tape, the media likewise killed the messenger, despite that Tripp was unquestionably right, and provided evidence to show it.

Despite all this, if Lewinsky had not come forward with a semen stained dress, Bill Clinton would have gotten away with it, thanks to the cover flown by the media.

And likewise, if not for the scorned National Enquirer, John Edwards might be president or vice president, thanks to the cover flown by the media.

I could cite other examples of liberal media bias, their low bar for evidence to accuse Republicans, vs. their high bar to accuse Democrats. Such as baseless N Y Times allegations in 2008 of McCain having an affair. Or the whole Dan Rather/ 60 Minutes fake letter from G.W. Bush's National Guard commander.



And to your last point, Barack Obama has set a new low for presidential blunders due to inexperience. Pretty much everything Obama has done right has been Obama reversing his stated campaign position to enact sensible policy of George W. Bush. I won't hold my breath waiting for either you, or the liberal media, to acknowledge that.
But it's an absolute fact nonetheless.

I'm not the only one to post in large type in the recent past. Take a long look at Prometheus' posts (cut-and pasted to infinity). It would be more credible if you held him to the same standard. I believe he was the "moron" who initiated it.

If it annoys you, that pleases me to no end.

From what I've seen, Herman Cain's latest accuser, who allegedly had an affair with him for 13 years, only can prove she exchanged a few phone calls and e-mails with him. And (GASP! CHOKE!) has a book that Herman Cain personally signed to her. That's it.

She also (like the last Herman Cain accuser) has in recent years filed for bankruptcy, filed an unsuccessful sexual harassment suit against someone other than Cain, and hasn't paid her own rent in the last year.

Again:
There was far more incriminating evidence against Bill Clinton, John Edwards and others, that the media refused to report.
And there is far less evidence against Cain.

I don't discount a petty criminal's testimony against a mob boss just because he commit a few crimes. Sure, this woman doesn't have a great background. Whatever. Cain should've called her on that rather than try to jump ahead of the story while his lawyer put out a statement saying that relationships where both sides consent are private and shall not be discussed. To me, at least, that says, "I was fucking her" more than anything she said. Good grief. Take the blinders off and look at what a dumb fuck this guy really is.

Herman Cain is a pretty smart "dumb fuck". And again: insults are not facts. It is disturbing that you and others openly endorse this unfounded slander. ALLEGATIONS THAT WOULD BE BELOW PUBLIC DISCUSSION IF MADE AGAINST A DEMOCRAT!

As I've said repeatedly, if you want to criticize Herman Cain for being weak on foreign policy, or on other actual issues, fair enough. And I've already agreed with you on that. But to leap on these unfounded sexual allegations is both malicious and not an equal standard.

A. All you care about is someone beating Obama. That in and of itself makes you pathetic.

B. The sentence should be something along the lines of "the mob rage of which you are, apparently, very fond.

C. Holding your nose to vote tells me very clearly that you are a completely liar when it comes to saying you hold your vote sacred. Your own paragraph exposes you as a lying sack of shit that really only votes based on who you think will cause the least damage. Hence, the fact that you hold your fucking nose to do it.
