As of today, I turned 29. Just 365 days shy of the fable age in which I heard (especially during my teenage years) when life supposedly comes to an end...the big 3-0
Am I scared as I enter the void...well, other than Micheal York stopping by my place and firing a pistol at me while screaming "Run, Runner....Run!" I actually feel fairly depressed more than afraid.
It's not a good sign to have a mid-life crisis at 29, is it?

29 was worse than 30, HK. Last year in your 20s.
30 was alright. I'm having trouble approaching 34, because it will mean I'm in my mid-30s.

I'm turning 30 this year and it doesn't phase me. I'm where I want to be in life, financially independent, own a house and car, have a job with the government, life is good. And I hear sex gets even better after 30 for women...can't wait to see how that works out!!

Turning thirty is NO big deal. I did that back in 1987. 40 was no problem, either. In another few years, though, I'll be 50. Now, If I'm STILL single then, it Might be depressing, but I'm not giving up hope..50 is still young, at Least compared to say, 80.
I guess It's all realtive...30 must seem old to you because it is the oldest You have ever been.
Relax... You still have a Lot of good years ahead of you! :)
