Quite frankly, we shouldn't be. I have no problems with unemployment benefits as they are temporary and are only supposed to be a bridge from one job to the next. We shouldn't be supporting whole families just because some unwed mother won't pay for her own birth control or just won't use it. Our government shouldn't be in the business of shielding people from their own mistakes.
