First of all, if men had something like PMS, you would beg for medication against it. (Nice try to edit. I saw the original version of the post.) Also, you're committing a naturalistic fallacy.

I don't remember if it was Ms. Fluke or another lady who witnessed in front of the hearing/committee, who told about her friend who had an illness which required birth control pills, but couldn't get it and thus died.

Also, it's rather common that one type of drug can be used to treat different ailments. For example, both eczema and rheumatism are treated with cortisone (a steroid and a hormone).
