Except that Pro stopped posting pretty much the day you started. Gee, what an amazing coincidence!

But Iggy like yourself identifies as a Republican.
And Iggy like yourself has manifested your level of obsession with me, and resorted to similar personal attacks.

But pending further evidence, I still think you're Pro.
You front to be Wednesday under a new alt, but your style doesn't match Wednesday's style either.

Regardless, as I said, Limbaugh mede one off the cuff remark, whereas the attacks on conservative women by Bill Maher, David Letterman, Ed Schultz and so forth, as well as endless vindictive liberals I meet in my daily life are ongoing for years and completely unrepentant.

Limbaugh: Obama ‘doesn’t have slave blood’ and isn’t ‘authentically black’

Republican radio host Rush Limbaugh just couldn’t resist going there on Wednesday.

Apparently tweaked by First Lady Michelle Obama’s enormously popular speech Tuesday night at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, Limbaugh told his listening audience that she’s lying about having to struggle and take on debt.

“Obama did not grow up in poverty,” he said. “His grandmother, the typical white woman, worked in a bank. Don’t give me this ‘down with the struggle’ business. He wasn’t down. In 2008, the Democrats were wringing their hands because he wasn’t authentically black… He wasn’t down with the struggle. He doesn’t have slave blood.”


President Obama is actually the 11th great-grandson of the first African to be declared a slave in the U.S., according to researchers at Ancestry.com. The familial connection was actually found on his white mother’s side, who descended from the Bunch family started by a slave in Virginia. Additionally, Obama’s father was born in Kenya.

Limbaugh’s claim that Obama never struggled also wilts under scrutiny. Even the neoconservative-leaning Weekly Standard pointed out that right after graduating Harvard Law, Obama took a $12,000-a-year salary as a community organizer in Chicago instead of a six-figure salary at one of the nation’s most prestigious law firms — a figure that comes to just over $23,000 once adjusted for inflation, which is less than what most public school teachers make. As Michelle Obama explained Tuesday night, during those years their student loan bills “were actually higher than our mortgage.”

Of course, for a Republican icon like Limbaugh, suggesting Obama’s blackness is inauthentic is par for the course. He said in 2007 that Obama and actress Halle Berry are both “Halfrican Americans,” and has repeatedly insisted – even as recently as Wednesday – that the only reason Obama can win elections is because he’s the black ”affirmative action candidate.”

There is no comparison of Rush's one off-the-cuff remark, to the unrepentant malice consistently unleashed by the Democrats, for years. By all appearances malice eagerly supported by the overwhelming majority of Democrats.

"The Rush Limbaugh Show" on Wednesday accused a "small number of hardcore political activists" and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee of being behind a two-year-old Stop Rush protest that amounts to "blackmail" of small business people who advertise with the high-profile conservative talk-show host.

In a release issued on Businesswire.com, Limbaugh’s show fired back at the smear campaign against him: “The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s newest email spam, asking their recipients to sign a petition calling for sponsors to end their relationship with The Rush Limbaugh Show, is based on the two-year old Stop Rush political protest as its inspiration. After an investigation, The Rush Limbaugh Show has discovered a far darker story to Stop Rush, and is today releasing the hidden story of the people and motives behind the Stop Rush conspiracy.”

Limbaugh show spokesman Brian Glicklich said in a post on the show's website that "a small number of politically motivated out-of-state activists are distributing target lists indiscriminately, and annoying small businesses until they give up the advertising deals that help them grow, or risk being unable to conduct business at all."


"It's not even activism … it's blackmail," he said.

The Limbaugh show's website called the number of people behind the protest "remarkably tiny," alleging just 10 Twitter users account for almost 70 percent of all Stop Rush tweets to advertisers, "amplified by illicit software."

"[T]hese activists are not and never would have been customers … their only role is to harass small businesses in an attempt to interfere with their operations, as long as they are advertising with Rush," the website story charged.

According to "The Rush Limbaugh Show," the anti-Limbaugh move uses automated tweeting software that lets users blast out tweets faster than someone writing their own posts.

The show charges the use of such equipment violates Twitter rules.

"They send barrages of thousands of messages through this software until advertisers are bullied and harassed into cancellation," the show said.

Despite claims that a significant grassroots movement opposes Limbaugh and his show advertisers, Limbaugh’s team says it’s a sham.

“These activists have long operated in secret and anonymously," the show says. But now, The Rush Limbaugh Show has the results of an investigation that names the people tweeting, facebooking, and emailing small businesses with harassing and bullying messages over and over until they surrender.

The list of people the show accused of being behind the movement includes a professor at Kent State University, who allegedly uses her official email account to hound advertisers, the show said.

But the man behind the movement, it maintains, is Media Matters for America executive vice president Angelo Carusone, who was interviewed in the Village Voice about the protest that initially targeted conservative talk-show host Glenn Beck, and then took on Limbaugh two years ago.

"I believe persistence pays off," Carusone told the Voice about his Stop Beck effort. "… it was effective every day, because we attached real financial consequences to what he was doing."

Greg Gutfeld tonight sounded off following the news that the Rolling Stone’s Sabrina Rubin Erdely is reportedly “re-reporting” her controversial UVA rape story.

“Call me crazy, but I think it might be better having someone else re-do this story,” Gutfeld said. “This is like letting a chef have another shot at dinner after giving the whole restaurant the runs. This is like letting a babysitter watch one of your kids after she traded the other one for pot. This is like giving Al Sharpton a TV show after Tawana Brawley.”

Gutfeld charged Erdely with reverse engineering her story to fit her bias.
