it kind of reminds me of something Colin Powell said during his 2004 Republican National Convention speech: "When I was growing up, being an unwed mother wasn't just wrong. It was shameful!" And that the decline of our culture is a result of having lost that sense of shame that motivates a better standard throughout our culture.
