We got into a discussion the other day about how terrible of an idea it was to put the holodeck on ships considering that at least 25% of the time that it's used ends with catastrophic results. Seriously, who were the lazy fucks that designed the damn thing without making sure that the computer couldn't create a sentient program that'll try and take over the ship?
