I was bummed by the trailers at the midnight show.They had Dark Knight and Spider-Man,but instead of the new trailers that were supposed to run.they ran older ones.Really,the only cool trailer was Promehteus.Totally stoked to see that one.Anyhow,I'm seeing Avengers again tonight so maybe better trailers will be up. I caught the 3D version Thursday as it was the same price as 2D for the midnight show and really,only a couple shots stood out and the scene where all the Skrulls were flying at you was the closest to actually a 3D standout,so 2D for me tonight.

My two favorite Hulk "ROOOOAAARRRSSS!!!" in this movie are: (1) when they down that first Serpent Ship, and all the Chitauri start that weird shrieking. Then, they cut to the "Team Circle" shot you see in all the trailers. That GROWL-ROAR he does in response to the aliens is soooo perfectly Hulk. The animal roaring back at the other animals. (2) When Tony wakes up at the end. Not the roar that woke him up, but right after where Hulk roars in triumph! THAT roar was fucking CHILLBUMPS baby! THAT was the first time in my life I finally got to hear how I always wanted the Hulk to sound....deafening! The wife's out of town this weekend, so I might end up going to see this thing for the 3rd time....

The barista at my local coffee shop and I have a running theory that Phil Coulson is one of the kids running playing Captain America at the end of Cap's flick, right before it jumps to modern times. Another theory is that, maybe, Coulson is really an LMD (Life Model Decoy). Are there more than one of him? One to swing by Stark and Pepper's tower in NYC, another one to pick up Captain America? And the third theory is that, like the cards, Fury lied to get the team together, and Coulson lived. This theory comes from the fact that the actor is supposedly signed for IRON MAN 3...
